James Reid hints on another surprise announcement at the second Araneta concert of JaDine
MAS HANDS ON ngayon sina James Reid at Nadine Lustre sa kanilang pangalawang concert sa Smart Araneta Coliseum na Revolution.
Ang sabi ni Nadine, mula sa concept ng JaDine concert ay involved na sila. At bilang nagdirek na si Nadz ng isang music video ni James (The Life), most of the visuals na ipapalabas sa Revolution ay siya ang kukuha o magdidirek. As in galing sa puso at utak daw nila ang concert nilang ito that’s why they’re both excited.
According to James, mas artsy ito ngayon compared sa Big Dome concert nila 2 years ago. This time ay para ka raw nanonood ng movie while watching a concert.
Dagdag ni Nadz, mas isu-showcase nila sa Revolution ang music nila ni James at kung sino sila talaga as an artist. ‘Yung una kasi ay may konek sa teleserye nilang On The Wings Of Love. This time ay more on ‘yung music side talaga nila ang ipapakita nila.
At saka ngayon ay may sariling album si James na kalalabas lang, ang Palm Dreams under his own music label, Careless Music Manila.
Aside from that, their own friends or squad will be with them onstage, so it’s gonna be a big party. Guest ng JaDine ang close buddies nilang sina Sam Concepcion, Kiana Valenciano and Bret Jackson, plus Vice Ganda and Sarah Geronimo.
Nabanggit ni Nadz na meron silang duet ni Sarah G. and she’s really excited about it. Ang gagawin daw nila ay isa sa favorite songs niya mula nu’ng bata pa siya, tapos ay may kasamang sayaw din.
Si James ang nagbuking na Madonna and Britney Spears ang peg nina Nadz at Sarah sa kanilang number together.
Three movies each
Two years ago sa first major concert nina James at Nadine sa Araneta na JaDine In Love ay doon nila inamin na sila na in real life.
Meron kaya ulit silang revelation o surprise announcement sa Revolution: The Jadine Concert on February 9?
“Announcement? Surprise na lang!” natatawang sagot ng Fil-Aussie heartthrob.
“Revelation? I don’t wanna spoil it,” nakangiting sey pa ni James.
“Abangan n’yo na lang po kung anong surprise,” natatawang sundot naman ni Nadine.
Ayon sa JaDine, ang focus nila this 2018 will be on their music and also doing movies. Si James ay may 3 movies—Never Not Love You with Nadine directed by Antoinette Jadaone, Miss Granny with Sarah G. directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal at saka Pedro Penduko later this year.
Si Nadz ay meron ding 3 movies—Never Not Love You, ang romcom na Ulan to be directed by Camp Sawi director Irene Villamor at ang thriller na The Nurse directed by Jun Lana.
Ani James, it’s time for them to start doing their own thing to show that they can really branch out and stand on their own.
Second the motion ni Nadz, they need to grow din sa sarili nila, na hindi magkasama kundi as a person and as an artist as well.
May plano ring teleserye for them this year, pero dahil maraming naka-lineup for JaDine ay titingnan daw nila kung kakayanin pa nila.
Taking music to the next level
Film student pala si Nadine nu’ng college and mahilig siya sa music. At dahil na-inspire siya sa songs ni James ay naisipan niya na bakit hindi siya magdirek ng music video?
“Magaling siya!” papuri ni James sa kanyang girlfie, who knows exactly what she wants and the concept of the video is hers. ‘Yung music video ng song ni James na The Life ang dinirek ni Nadz, na mostly pinagsama-samang travel vids nila together.
Kung si James ang tatanungin, ang goal niya this year is to take music to the next level. He wants to bring Filipino music to the world stage.
R&B ang classification ni James sa kanyang music. Chris Brown is one of his biggest influences dahil songs ni Brown ang paborito niyang kantahin noon sa shower.
This time, he says he’s more in control of his music. Bago pa siya nag-artista ay music daw talaga ang original passion ng 24-anyos na binata.
Aminado siyang it’s super hard to own a music label. But he really wants to develop it and make it bigger.
Nadine is currently working on her own album under James’ Careless Music Manila. Lumabas na ang first single and music video niyang St4y Up na si Nadz ang executive producer.
For sure ay kasama ito sa kakantahin ni Nadine sa Revolution: The JaDine Concert on February 9 at the Big Dome.
