IN FAIRNESS ay nagtatagal si Lovi Poe at ang kanyang Fil-French boyfriend na si Chris Johnson.

Ilang years na ring happy ang Kapuso actress sa kanyang hunky non-showbiz boyfie at mukhang wala silang problema kahit minsan ay nasa abroad si Chris at naiiwan dito sa ‘Pinas si Lovi.

Mukhang swak ang morenang dalaga sa binatang foreigner at hindi taga-showbiz.

Natagpuan na kaya ni Lovi ang kanyang ‘significant other’ sa katauhan ni Mr. Johnson?

“I don’t know yet because right now, I’m just enjoying his company and so is he. And we’re both career oriented.

“Ngayon, yes, I believe he’s one person that I lean on to. But now, it’s just that we’re very focused sa work talaga,” bulalas ni Lourdes Virginia, nang makausap namin nu’ng 29^th birthday niya last February 11 sa grand presscon ng movie niya with Tom Rodriguez and Erich Gonzales na The Significant Other.

So, wala pang pag-level up anytime soon?

“Wala pang ganu’n na klaseng pag-level up. Siguro, we’re just going with the flow, that’s what.”

Hindi pa ba nila napag-uusapan ni Chris ang kasal?

“Oh no, hindi pa po. Malayo pa ‘yon sa usapan,” natatawang pakli ni Lovi girl.

Eh, living together?

“Not yet din, because ang layo niya. ‘Yung work niya is malayo from me. So, mahirap din ‘yon.”

Patient and understanding

Kung sa seryoso ay serious ang relasyon nila ni Chris, sabi ni Lovi. Hindi sila ‘yung tipong naglalaro lang.

“Yes, of course. Every relationship naman, I really believe is you always give your best and you want things to work out. There’s no relationship naman na you want to end,” sey ng dalaga.

Ang pinakanagustuhan daw ni Lovi sa kanyang Fil-French beau ay ang pagiging very understanding and very patient nito.

“I can be difficult sometimes. So, I’m very thankful na talagang understanding siya,” napapangiting pag-amin ni Lovi.

Si Chris na kaya ang ‘the one’ for her?

“I’m praying, I’m praying,” kaswal na sagot ni Lovi with a sweet smile.

Netflix and chill

Nang makausap namin si Lovi ay wala pa siyang natatanggap na birthay gift from Chris.

Surprise daw ang regalo nito na hindi pa dumarating dahil in-order pa nito sa Paris. Hindi alam ni Lovi kung ano ‘yung gift na ‘yon, as in may pasorpresa ang kanyang Papi. Super-sweet daw talaga ito at extra-effort lalo na ‘pag may okasyon.

Nag-dinner lang sila on the eve of her birthday, ganu’n lang kasimple. At pinilit lang daw siya ni Chris na mag-dinner dahil gusto niya lang to stay home.

A few days pa before Valentine’s nang matsika namin ang GMA actress at ang sabi niya sa amin ay may work siya on that day. Taping sila ng The One That Got Away, so ‘yung girls niyang co-stars ang kasama niya. Maybe after o before ay puwede raw silang makasingit ng something ni Chris.

And if ever they have the time, honestly ay gusto lang daw magpahinga at kumain nang marami ni Lovi.

“Gusto ko lang manood ng Netflix! Ha! Ha! Ha!” tawa niya.

Sunud-sunod daw kasi ang work, so ‘pag may free time ay sinisingit na lang nila ang date night. She enjoys the simplest things now.

Isa sa kinabisihan ni Lovi ay ang promo ng sexy drama movie nila nina Tom at Erich na The Significant Other.
