Sabi ni Bossing, “I think, Direk Chris will agree with me na considering his (Baste) age, considering it’s his first acting job, I will give him very high marks.”

Pagsang-ayon ni Direk Chris, “Yes, very high marks. More than Valedictorian. Ito pong batang ‘to, 5 years old lang po ito. Baka akala n’yo 7, kasi malaki.

So Bash, thank you for giving some very good performance in this movie.

“Ang galing-galing po niya sa pelikulang ‘to. And I would also like to thank ‘yung co-stars niya na nag-double up as acting coach. Ha! Ha! Ha!

And Mommy She (Sheila Granfon Arumpac, mommy ni Bash), thank you so much.

Ginawa niya lahat—sumayaw, kumanta, umiyak, nagpatawa. He’s a natural born entertainer.

“Sa set, he’s parang our guiding light. ‘Pag dumarating ‘yan sa set, tuwang-tuwa kami. Laruan namin ‘yan, eh. Very good, Bash.

“He knows what he’s doing. He’s quite conscious already of what acting is. Naiintindihan na niya, kaya hindi nahirapan si Direk Chris to direct him in the right direction.

“Kasi, mahirap eh. He’s only 5 years old and he’s never had experience na nagsu-shooting na, ‘5, 4, 3, 2, 1, action!’ Tapos, ‘Cut!’”

“I was really surprised. We were surprised, na he had the talent for acting kahit hindi pa siya gaanong marunong magbasa.”

Feeling niya, it will be a happier Christmas, so it’s good to be back.

Dagdag pa ni Bossing, pinag-merge ‘yung idea last year at ‘yung idea dati, sa MMFF this year. Winelkam niya ang change na ‘yon. Basta change for the better ay welcome sa kanya.

Para aniyang Meant to Beh na isang welcome change for him. Wala itong fantasy kundi reality lang, so bago ito sa kanya and he’s very proud sa finished product.

Aniya, it’s time to move on and to level up. Present something different, something more realistic and more relevant.

“For me, ‘pag Christmas, ang una kong naiisip is pamilya. At pagdating ng Christmas, one of the big entertainment na pinupuntahan ng mga tao is manood ng sine. Alam naman natin ‘yan in the past.

“So, naisip namin to move out of the comfort zone which is fantasy.

What matters most to me right now is for the festival to be successful.

“Mas maraming manonood, mas mabuti. Mas maraming kumitang pelikula, mas mabuti. So, I endorse all the movies.

I’m sure, it will be a Merry Christmas for all the moviegoers,” sambit ni Bossing Vic.
